Hello all, it's great to find a forum to get the local inside scoop!

I live in Long Beach right now, and recently got married. My wife, who works in Downtown LA, has been commuting via the Blue Line and Red Line. However her work will be moving to a location where I'd rather her not walk around everyday (close to MacArthur Park). So we're thinking of moving closer to LA, possibly Mid-Wilshire, Koreatown, or near Hancock Park. She could drive (when we get another car haha) or take a local bus to work.

As for me, I would drive down the 110 South to 405 South to CSULB. I've driven this way in the mornings before, which wasn't too bad. But how about going back in the 5pm - 6pm times (Long Beach to LA)?

Also would it take a while just to get on the 110 from Hancock Park?

Thanks for your input!

You will run into the heart of rush hour in the mornings and at night .. be prepared for some traffic on either the 405 or 110. :/
