My sister and I are looking at a place on Vanowen Street in North Hollywood. Anyone know if it's a good area? Thank you.

Closer to Van Nuys not so good. Closer to Burbank better but still pretty grungy. I wouldn't call anywhere along Vanowen in North Hollywood to be a good area but it depends on what you are used to

Most of north Hollywood not too great . The Noho arts district is pretty nice . I see North Hollywood improving but still pretty sketchy .

Was kind of surprised to see that a Burger King on Lankershim recently got turned into a Starbucks .
Starbucks is often viewed as being good for a neighborhood and sign of gentrification .
