The point of posting the article is that Califrornia, due to its population, is in a uniquely unfortunate situation if the Senate bill passes in the form it currently is in. Our state should not be given the same federal funding for health care as other states will be given.

Well, emergency health care is a given no matter what status one has.

But non-emergency health care is at the discretion of the local governments and states. I suppose one could argue that giving illegals preventative health care is justifiable because it would cost more to give more emergency health care that would result. It seems to be up to them.
