If you go to Disneyland make sure to go to the Blue Bayou . Advance reservations are a must, you may be able to get them first thing in the morning. Their Crab legs are the best around, not available at the lunch hour.

You could pretty easily get down to a beach restaurant, Moonshadows, Dukes (the old Sea Lion), Gladstones, the Reel Inn. I haven't been to these places in a few years but I drove by them a few weeks ago and they're still there.

Lots of nice restaurants on Ventura Boulevard. I used to go to Mediterranean Feast near Tampa and Ventura, and an Isreali place Tempo (closed???) near Petit and Ventura. There's Marakesh Moroccan restaurant I think in Studio City or Sherman Oaks.

Not sure where you're coming from but there are Armenian, Persian, Ethiopian restaurants in Los Angeles - it would be a drive from Calabasas though with traffic.

You'd probably want to eat Mexican, and for that, I'd find a hole in the wall place, it won't be fancy but it will be cheap, authentic, and good.

If you like Japanese, there's a fun place with great food on Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana called Kushiyu. It's my favorite non-Western place in the Valley, and just about a ~15 min drive from Calabasas.

You might also want to look up Saddle Peak Lodge, which I think might even technically be in Calabasas. It's a great spot in the mountains/hills between Calabasas and Malibu. Really nice atmosphere and delicious food, although it's not exactly cheap.
