Is this just some rumor or is it true.

Can't answer your question, but I can tell you that I purchased the worst rib eye steaks I've ever had at the Fresh & Easy in Manhattan Beach last month.

Slow day, is this supposed to be ground breaking news, guys?

They do have great prices or Irish cheese and tofu though.

Not the best place to buy meat, but a great place to buy rather inexpensive fresh dinners and the easy home cooking stuff.

Wow, what great news for Sylmar! Good for them. Breaking news? To all of LA, maybe not, but to Sylmar? Hell ya!

At least Fresh & Easy has been willing to open in working class areas unlike Trader Joes.

At least Sylmar has other places nearby that generally have pretty good meat. My experience with the meat at Vallarta markets has been good, and they have a store on Foothill. Hows is also not far, on Balboa in Granada Hills. I've had good experiences with the meat there, too.

Huh? I've seen Trader Joe's markets in Granada Hills, Santa Clarita, La Crescenta, and even Bakersfield. They also have stores in Long Beach, Torrance, Culver City, Manhattan Beach, Ventura, Simi Valley, and Thousand Oaks, as well as lots of other places. These are working class areas.

Just wondering what was meant by that statement.
