Hello! My husband, our 10-month old and I just moved to Redondo Beach CA and are currently looking for day care. I feel that the best way to do this is really through referrals from people that have had good experiences and would truly recommend the place. Most of the hits I have gotten off the internet and even asking around are for large day care centers. We have made our appointments to check these out but I am also looking to check out family home daycares and have not had much luck in this specific area.

I too am looking for a daycare for a 6-month old in the El Segundo/Manhattan Beach/Redondo Beach area -- we both live and work in the area. Riviera PlaySchool is in redondo beach and is the best child care facility in the south bay. It's the only one that offers daily hiking, play-based academics, 4 to 1 ratio, and plenty of outdoor, nature-based play in an incredibly beautiful setting. The teachers are top-ntoch, and the program is exceptional.
