Hello! My husband, our 10-month old and I just moved to Redondo Beach CA and are currently looking for day care. I feel that the best way to do this is really through referrals from people that have had good experiences and would truly recommend the place. Most of the hits I have gotten off the internet and even asking around are for large day care centers. We have made our appointments to check these out but I am also looking to check out family home daycares and have not had much luck in this specific area.
I would truly appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Welcome NEWTOCALI. Where do the two of you work? Is dropping off and picking up near one of your jobs an option?

I too am looking for a daycare for a 6-month old in the El Segundo/Manhattan Beach/Redondo Beach area -- we both live and work in the area. So far we have the following suggestions: - Beach Babies - Bright Horizons - Der Kinder Garden Please respond if you have any feedback on the above daycares or on other options not listed. Thank you.

Riviera PlaySchool is in redondo beach and is the best child care facility in the south bay. It's the only one that offers daily hiking, play-based academics, 4 to 1 ratio, and plenty of outdoor, nature-based play in an incredibly beautiful setting. The teachers are top-ntoch, and the program is exceptional.

For a 10 month old, why not just hire a nanny/babysitter? Riveria doesn't take 10 month olds.

Welcome to Redondo. Finding infant care isn't easy. I am a licensed Child care provider and specialize in babies up to age 3. I offer In home child care if that is something you will consider. I just had a baby relocate to San Diego so I have space. Call me so we can chat.
