I'm stuck in the SF bay area for another 2 months and even though the peninsula is pleasant, there's no vibrancy or energy there.

I miss the LA beaches, going to Thai town for really spicy authentic food, the gorgeous weather, outgoing and attractive people and the huge adundance of opportunities there.

There hasn't been a good LA thread for a while and even though LA does have some minuses i.e. traffic, smog, there are just so many positives that make LA such a great city.

I just made it back after being stuck in the middle of the ocean for almost 4 years. It's been like an out of body experience being back. I effing love this city so much! I'm never moving away again.

We'll roll out the red carpet for your escape from suburbia and speedy return to Los Angeles!

Default I'm with you

It's so nice to see positive posts on this board. I'm moving to LA this September and can't wait. I have been in San Francisco for ten years, and though I will miss aspects of the city I will not miss the FOG/COLD/DAMP weather. And the opportunities in LA are so much better. I want to be there now...good luck with your move back and see you there.

There's a Thai town? I'll have to check it out! I knew they have a Chinatown, Korea Town, and Little Tokyo. They must have a town for every nationality in L.A.

Where's the country of Thai? Is it in Thaiwon?

Thaiwon is Chinatown, if so, it is near Hill Street (near downtown L.A).

Thai Town, Los Angeles, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thai town is great! I used to live by there and eat thai every other day! My favorite thai place is Yai's Yai Restaurant - Los Angeles, CA, 90028-6719 - Citysearch
It's spicy and really authentic.
