So I haven't lived in this mid-city Los Angeles four-plex long, but the owner has moved to the Central Valley and has left me "in charge" till further notice...she's a nice lady, but I need tips on what steps to take. Heck I'm not sure what 2 bed 1 bath apartments go for. It's a quiet street in an urban area. Culver City adjacent might be one description. Where should I advertise (ALREADY DONE CRAIG'S LIST)? MY GOAL IS TO GET THESE RENTED BEFORE SHE COMES AROUND IN A MONTH. THANKS!!

if craigslist isn't working, take pictures and see if it improves matters..

I have rented out units through CraigsList....it works but you really need to post and re-post nearly every day (or every other day). Change your add up a bit each day so it will allow you to re-post. Definitely put some pics of the units in your add.

I would keep the add short and sweet but still very descriptive. Something like:

2 BED/2 BATH in Mid-City, adjacent to CULVER CITY.

NEAREST CROSS STREETS ARE XX and XX

EXCELLENT CONDITION...PARKING IS .........

RENT is XXXX PER MONTH. SEC. DEPOSIT is XXXXX

GREAT FOUR-PLEX with CROWN MOULDINGS, etc.

GOOD CREDIT and REFERENCES.

GIVE YOUR NAME and PHONE NUMBER as CONTACT INFO.

BE SURE TO INCLUDE PHOTOS in YOUR ADD......
