I know, often shining lights down below. That has to be a crime in progress or search for a suspect.
Kinda scary. To be clear though - Burbank is safe and great.

Yeah I agree - just another weekend night in LA County.

While it's scary, I am comforted y the fact that the cops are on the lookout for someone as opposed to someone getting away with a crime.

At least Burbank isn't in LAPD territory. In North Hollywood, those things would fly over my neighborhood like clockwork at the top of the hour. Keep in mind, I also lived near the police station so it is expected. The airplanes flying over us to get to the Burbank Airport is 20x worse. I never got used to that sound of an airplane flying over!

Dude did you know Kobe takes a Helicopter from his home in Orange County to the Staples Center for home games? Did you know that Larry Hagman uses a helicopter to fly from his Ojai home whenever he has to be in LA? Did you know that Will Smith uses a helicopter to fly between local film shoots, his home and the occasional football game that his son may be playing in. He used our helipad one day to see his son play at a game near our hospital.

And that is just a sampling of those in the entertainment and sports industry. The LA area has a lot of executives that also use helicopters to take them from home to work or wherever. It is just a normal day in the life for many.

I have even heard that Law Enforcement agencies, Fire Departments, and many in Healthcare use helicopters in the area. Childrens Hospital has a beautifull helicopter that has been at our helipad many times. That thing is quick to. According to the pilot they can leave our hospital and be at Childrens Hospital, 60 miles away, in about 15 minutes.

Is the helicopter circling around your area or are you just hearing one come here and there? Do you live next to St Joseph Hospital? Maybe it's an emergency ambulance air lift.
