Is the monthly pass guilty on metro rapide line from Santa Monica to LA downtown?

Found this online but dont understand what it means:

How much does an EZ transit pass cost?
An EZ Pass costs $70 dollars or $35 for seniors, disabled, and Medicare
passengers. Zone stickers cost $18 each, or $9.50 per zone for seniors,
disabled, and Medicare passengers. The total cost for an EZ transit pass
with all necessary zone stickers is as follows:
- Adult (Union Station and Van Nuys, P8): $214
- Adult (Westwood, P7): $196
- Senior/Disabled/Medicare (Union/VNY, P8): $111
- Senior/Disabled/Medicare (Westwood, P7): $102
- Employee (All routes, P4): $142

Does not the monthly pass cover all of LA?

Any input is welcome.

Thanks

The Metro Rapid buses from Santa Monica to downtown L.A. are covered with a basic EZ pass since they don't travel on the freeway. Only Freeway Express services require a Premium Stamp or zone fare. If you look at the schedules for individual lines any that have fare zones (which you can pay in cash after showing your EZ Pass) will have this information listed.
I hope this answers your question.
