I know people have asked about Sherman Oaks before, but as I'm relocating, I'm not entirely sure if this area is safe or not. I'm a 25 year old girl, so I definitely want safe. The person I've been in contact with about renting says it's safe, but who wouldn't. I've been told to live south of ventura and south of riverside. Anyway, It is one block South of Ventura Blvd., corner of Kester & Dickens St. and between Sepulveda Blvd. and Beverly Glen.

Safe area, no worries. Just exercise a normal amount of caution because you're still living in a big city.

Very safe.
BTW Riverside Dr./Camarillo St. is north of Ventura Blvd. so anything south of Ventura Blvd. would also be south of Riverside.

That's what I thought...but the friend who told me anything south of riverside said you couldn't go south of ventura since it was based at a hill and when i showed him the address he told me the location wasn't good, so I wanted to get more opinions!
