Illegal Immigrants are not staying put in SoCal...They realize that other parts of the Country are more affordable.

The Entire Coast of California,The Bay Area and Southern California will one day be an area made up of mostly Wealthy People from all over the Country and the World.

Migration statistics would argue against that.

as opposed to 3000 more legals hoping the state border doing the same thing? L.A. is inundated with people soooo wanting to be the next big thing that illegal immigration takes a background check. We have more people wanting to be a star then we do illegal immigrants.

Way more people leave California for other states than come here from other states. It it weren't for international migration (legal and otherwise) California's population would be increasing very slowly instead of at the rapid pace it is.

i agree with Caliguy, and add that there are no actual statistics. There are just people claiming this or that and others that base things on "what they see."

Even IF 3 illegals hop the border every time someone leaves cali, that doesn't mean that they are coming here. Vague statements of emotion are fine, but don't stand that as a permanent fact.

Leave Cali, i don't mind. Hell, i plan to leave it my self. But not because of some illogical structure that "we" are being invaded. I want to leave because every time i go to the store someone is fillming some new "cutting edge" movie.

Yeah, there's no stats on migration. OK.

Oh, look, from a little site called city-data.com:

Internal migration 2000-2006: -950,592

International migration 2000-2006: +1,724,790
