Hello ALL!

I really need to find a really good veterinarian for my dog around Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silverlake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, you know that area.

My dog has a bump on the side of her. She normally goes to Larchmont Animal Hospital/Clinic but last time I took her there to examine it they charged me $200.00 (which was fine). But when I asked them about the results they said they needed another $900+ to tell me more and to do more tests.

My mom rescues dogs and said that that did not sound right.

So if anyone knows of a good vet. for a possible cancer lump please recommend one.

Many thanks to everyone.

I go to Larchmont and they referred me to City of Angels in Culver City. Turns out our dog had cancer but we were able to help extend her life a few months after treatment. I don't know if your dog has cancer, but a visit to City of Angels would be a helluva lot cheaper than $900...! They know their stuff and are very understanding.
