I need to get down to Cut Off to pick up a motorcycle, but I'm guessing the only way to get there from Baton Rouge is to hitch hike, but I hope I'm wrong.

If anyone who visits here routinely drives down that way, please send me a PM so I can arrange a meeting. Happy to pay gas expenses. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Have you ever been to Cut Off before?

No, there is likely nothing in the form of public transportation that goes to Cut off.

That town is well named. It is the end of the earth.

I lived in Cut Off, It's not the end of the world.. Galliano, Golden Meadow, and then Grand Isle would be the end of the world..

No, there is no public transit there, There are two, two lane roads and one small highway.

Yeah, LaRose is practically cosmopolitan, and it's right there. Once you hit golden meadow you are definitely in the
area of the end of the world. You might be able to take a bus to a town or two way down on bayou lafourche which would make
you have to hitchhike about the last 15-20 miles. You could hitch a ride with NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX.......

Not sure if you've already found a way down there, but there are quite a few oilfield crew change transportation services in the area that probably make that run regularly on the way to Port Fourchon. Might be worth a look.

Insurance doesn't allow "riders" who aren't employed by the insurer

In the SPILL OIL industry they take things real seriously.
