I am looking for a nice apartment in Ruston close to La. Tech. We have seen a few, but the reviews we read were not good. Any help would be appreciated!

Oh. Rent a house. There are only a few nice apartment complexes and you are going to pay for them, believe me. The Ruston Daily Leader will have listings, and so will the Thrifty Penny (not sure if that is the name of that little pamphlet you can find at gas stations there?). Anyways, you might be able to get a duplex or single family house for the same price or less and get the utilities thrown into the price. That is what we did when we lived there. It was a good deal. I walked to Tech from our rental so I didn't have to worry about the usual campus parking nightmare.
