The boardwalk is nice, but we kind of need some real estate along the area.

According to the updates on this process, the lakefront hotel is going to be demolished. Why? I don't know, I mean the parking garage is more in need to demolition than the hotel in my opinion.

I say let that group who wants to build the hard rock cafe casino have that spot. That would be a huge step for revitalizing the downtown area.

It's in poor condition. Why would they buy it when it's public news that Pinnacle agreed to pay for its demolition. I'm sure there will be some offers once it is demolished and the property, which is right off the interstate, is put back on the market. Think about it from a business perspective.

I'm curious as to what kind of development we will see among McNeese Street when they complete the extension. It's about to get extended to Wardline Road (LA 397), Mcneese Street will eventually intersect Corbina Road when it's extended (it will extended to E. Prien Lake Road). I say mixed use developments should be added, the lake area sure could use some of that kind of real estate.

I can't remember the name and don't know how to search for it. It's the TND type development north of I-10, west of 171, and east of the Calcasieu River I believe.
