My husband said someone told him today that Northwestern was very bad on crime. Does anyone know if this is true? We may look at ULL in the future but for his first year we want him closer to home.

Well, LSU is certainly the largest. LSU does excel and lead the state in many fields of study, yet in certain disciplines, there are better choices. The Information Technology field being just one of them...

Flagship status will mean exactly squat in a job interview.

Correct. I work with some of these folks and to a name, they are good. Very good.

These are the ones who do the heavy lifting working serious magic when solving everyday problems regarding corporate productivity. Email, anti-virus, disaster recovery, back-ups, failed hard-drives, etc...

Couldn't exist without these guys who work the trenches.
