Sample Ballot
Get your voter registration card, go to the above link, select your parish and district number, and then your area's sample ballot will appear. Print this out and use it for research and as a cheat sheet. Once you've researched the candidates and amendments, make notation of your choice. I usually write on a piece of paper the elected office, name of candidate, and the ballot # or I write the Amendment number and either yes or no. I then bring this with me to the voting booth and I'm in and out in less than a minute.

Thanks for the info Dave! I'll make note of my precinct next election for future reference. Haven't seen my voter registration card in years. Probably in the attic somewhere...
