I'm clear out in Oregon, and I have been listening to this festival streaming through a radio station for the past couple of hours. I am SO glad to hear this live, because it makes me want to check out this concert in the future. October would be an interesting time to go.

Wayne Toups is awesome! Lovin' it! We go to New Orleans every other year, but there is SO much more fun to be found outside the city, too.

The internet sure has some cool functions, no doubt.

October is often quite beautiful. Very low humidity, cool clear days.

I'd also suggest attending Festival International (APRIL 27 - MAY 1)

Last night I was listening to their song "Les Jours Sont Longs" and the chord progression in there
reminded me of our own Beau Dommage - another "1 gal with the guys" band

The exact opposite is found in Bonsoir Catin, the almost-all-girl group who were at the 2008 edition of the Festival I think.

I heard them play "Fais l'amour dans le poulailler" what a silly song title!!! I just love it
