Tabasco, Crystal, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Frank's Red Hot (imported from OH), or Texas Pete's (imported from NC)...

I prefer Crystal for everyday use, Tabasco for cooking and cocktails, and Frank's for wings.

Louisiana - which is your favorite?

Default Tabasco

Well, I'll say tabasco since I can recognize the flavor, but I do like those others also. For example, my wife puts "Louisiana hot sauce" in her red beans and rice. I don't think I've ever used Franks before; maybe I'll try it. Buffalo wings. I kind of like those. Actually I'm nuts for em'!

Huckleberry - where is 'la sabrosita' made?

Tabasco, Crystal, and Louisiana Hot Sauce are all produced in Louisiana - I'm a proponent of supporting LA businesses.

I could just drink Crystal all day long. After the storm I freaked out and traveled all over from Hammond to Hatiesburg, MS buying up Crystal because the plant had shut down. I still have 4 bottles from that stash left.

I do however, have to admit that I personally perfer certain hot sauces for certain foods: oysters, po-boys, and fish call for Crystal, while eggs, ketchup, and red beans are for Tobasco. I only use Louisiana when they don't have Crystal and forget that other stuff, eew
