Today my mixed jack russell got in a fight with a dog that came in the yard. After i got him from the fight he had blood in his mouth but I dont see any sores. Since the fight he will not eat all he wants to do is sleep. He does not want to play or kiss me like he used to. he wants to hide soon as I put him down. He is also drooling and if I try to open his mouth he wont let me. Please help I cant afford to bring him to the vet. I think he might just be scared from the fight and might be sore. Please help

If his mouth is sore (which it probably is), he's likely in pain, he could have a cracked too or an abcess or infection etc. Take him to the vet, the vet will be understanding as these are hard times for a lot of people, he probably work out a payment plan if you don't have enough money. Good luck.

I'm sorry, but you need to get your dog to a vet. If you can't find a vet that will agree to a payment plan, I would look around the house and find something, ANYTHING, I could take to a pawn shop.

He could have a serious injury and he is obviously in a great deal of pain.

You might try calling a humane society or animal rescue group in your area...........they may be able to help you find a low cost vet or one who will take payments.
