I'm a 54 year old retiree thinking of relocating to Monroe, LA next year.

Are there alot of people in my age group living there and what areas of the city is best to live in within walking distance of things to do, places to eat, etc.?

Your input will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Monroe is a small town in the middle of a large stand of piney woods pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. That is a good thing if ya ask me.

West Monroe is where you want to be.
