Hi - Can anyone recommend an apartment complex or company in Covington/Mandeville area? Good neighborhood, child-friendly type of place? I have been looking online but can't tell one from the next...

Thanks!!!

I don't have children, so the subject of an areas child friendliness is not something im an expert in. However, consider this, both Mandeville and Covington are very suburban in nature, suburbs tend to be more child friendly. The St. Tammany parish school system is fantastic compared to the rest of the state (especially it's south shore neighbors), and the general vibe from these places is that they are geared towards having and raising families. With the exception of a few pockets of bad neighborhoods in Covington, almost all of the neighborhoods in both cities are extremely nice. Mandeville, in terms of rent, will most likely be a bit more expensive due to its proximity to the lake, but would be more convenient if you are planning on commuting across the lake. Covington would be a bit cheaper, but i find Covington has more traffic(especially around I-12 and 190). Don't know if this helps, but gives you
some things to consider
