What would be the best place for a person trying to raise a family in LA? Kenner looks good, but I dont hear very well from it. Also, I really don't like cities under 30,000 to live in. Any suggestions?

That question is far too broad. What are you looking for in a city?

Lafayette is a pretty good place to start.
Probably the most family friendly city in the state.

Haha weird, because I'm watching Cajun Pawn Stars right now =P, but what I was saying is something kind of like the looks of kenner or metairie, and just a louisiana 'feel' I could say. Just a friendly family place.

Lafayette or New Orleans for that Louisiana feel. Metairie is ok for a family but doesn't have that 'feel' like New Orleans or Lafayette.

I heard the place was near Alexandria . Not as " Cajun " as they would have you think . Imagine that .

I dunno about Lafayette, I feel that place and around Crowley is probably the worst places in Louisiana.

But I would recommend Chalmette.
