LC has always been the victim of poor leadership. I'm hoping that our new Mayor changes that.

I will. Unless you think the media has some reason to lie about it.

That's sad. I don't know why they scrapped it when $42 million of $60 million were financed. Could they get a loan?

Sounds to me u needed to place blame on others instead of self accountability .if ur roof has been leaking for 4 years, that is simple negligence.

I would have voted "no", too. I don't want my tax dollars going to build a hurricane museum.

I don't understand why they could not just build a decent museum with the money that they already had and then expand as time went by. The way we are taxed in Louisiana is nothing short of highway robbery! One has to wonder, what the hell they are doing w/ the tax dollars that we already pay.

I've been wondering the same myself.

I don't think it's been given to any location. Instead, all the money goes into the politicians' pockets.

Nah, we give it to those plants.

Politicians don't literally pocket it, I'm sure you know how corporate welfare works. Same as regular welfare, just no government cheese, more like another yacht.
