Newsflash! Socialism and free stuff for constituents isn't a Louisiana trait.
Mary "pipeline" Landrieu will be looking for a new job very soon!
Bliss, ignorance is.
His approval rating is low and highly doubt he would carry his own state in any election.

I admit, unabashedly so, that I'm no fan of Louisiana's current governor for several reasons. So suffice it to say that I'm not interested, in the slightest, at the idea of his current ambitions to become the next US president.

I find it quite ironic that an individual who denied much-needed assistance from the president, due to his anti-Obama and "conservative" convictions, would spend so liberally to secure national brand recognition for next Presidential Election Season. I'm not enamored with the idea that you and I have paid for his multiple trips around the country for him to recruit a national audience, which as detailed, is illegal.

I'd like to create a dialogue about this. What do you think??

Read the article. Watch the video. Let me know your thoughts.

Ciao

I'lI contribute to your dialog. I find it comical that you dwell on Jindal's travels, when your hero Obama has done nothing but travel by the most expensive means on the planet for his 6-year non-stop campaign tour.
Fortunately, America finally sees that The Emperor Has No Clothes!

So, what you are saying is, you see no problem with Jindal's fiscal policies or habits.

Correct. Jindal rightly refused to buy into Obamacare, which would enroll Louisiana in a scheme that's simply a wealth transfer from producers to consumers. This would encumber the State with a perpetual financial burden once the Feds cut funding.
And that is all part of the plan as per your boy Gruber!
We have a President who is a proven liar, and God bless Jindal for opposing him.
I have no interest in signing up for Medicaid. I can afford better, and it's my choice.

I got to meet him once.
Told him I couldn't wait 'til he became President.
He just smiled.

Louisiana now has about 250,000 people who are uninsured, simply due to the refusal to accept Medicaid expansion. I don't see that being right.
With the Fed paying for 90% of it, I don't see how you interpret that as a perpetual burden. Especially since the extra burden of having a quarter of a million uninsured persons in the state. His hospital privatization is already a failure. He found a way to be in the red for the budget (fiscal conservative?). He insisted over and over that he was not going to run for POTUS all while illegally spending our money (fiscal liar?). How is Jindal a Biology graduate with honors, who doesn't believe in evolution?

You have no interest, but 250,000 do. Ahhh the party of self.

Well as an aside to all this boys & girls... considering all the budget slashing to Louisiana healthcare and higher education thanks to Boy-Jindal; now we get to add the plunging price of oil to the growing state budget shortfall. Why? Well it seems that thanks to $75 a barrel oil, looks like Louisiana coffers will be getting about $90 million less in taxes on oil. When the price was around $95 or so, things looked slightly better revenue-wise. So looks like more cuts are on the way. While there are some who think it means less government, think again... it means less efficient public services due to layoffs and budget cuts, more cuts to higher-education, less support of healthcare to an already stressed system... less, less, less.

You seem to think (your number of 250,000) people are not responsible for providing for themselves. How is that right?
Maybe some better life-decisions earlier in one's life would instill self-sufficiency. Poor people can enroll in Medicaid just like before. That hasn't changed.
What you envision is a system where we all get equally poor health care!
I for one will pass!

So because you can afford health care, others are supposed to? Of that number, I'm sure 100k are children. A conservative Christian you are?

Not to mention Jindal having to give millions to Baton Rouge General-Mid-City for it to keep it's ER open. The Federal dollars would have supplied that rather than us having to use our tax dollars for it. Now we have a hospital in Monroe facing closure. Thanks Piyush!

"Federal dollars"? "Our tax dollars"? You prove my point about not understanding whose money it really is.
Quit digging your hole deeper!
