For the first time in many years, Lake Charles, Louisiana has an open Dairy Queen again.

The location is on Nelson Road next to Tuten Park. Tuten Park has also been recently rennovated with all new walking paths and a place to sit enjoy a DQ Blizzard.

One recently opened in Slidell on Gause. You'd think they were giving away food by the crowded parking lot all day. Great hot dogs.

Same at the DQ in Lake Charles, long lines for the drive thru. Yet, if you park and eat they bring the food out in a decent amount of time.

I drive by DQ every day on the way to work. People are absolutely nuts for the place. The lines have been SO long. I guess everybody has been waiting for one.

I'm new at this forum and wanted to offer a piece of positive information about Lake Charles, Louisiana.

What other local news topics should I discuss on this forum that do not violate posting rules?

Does this post violate rules?

A simple "yes" or "no" would've sufficed. I was just asking...

No. But usually fast food openings aren't topics here.
