We keep a Prejeans menu in the car and if we ever go near the area we call 15
mins out and order, pick up and keep going. Lol.
Eating on the run! We dined in just the day before Thanksgiving at Prejeans so it wasn't crowded.

I was there over Thanksgiving. We made Lafayette our jumping off point...Prejeans, Picadillys, Girard Park, swamp tour with Basin Landing, Carville leprosy museum, New Orleans WW2 museum (just for the museum, the city itself was too much for us). Coming back in March but will be in Baton Rouge for the most part

Well, we ended up trying to get part of the New Years Eve package deal at the former Crowne Plaza, but the rates were all over the place and the nightclub attached to the hotel handling the New Years Eve Party was shadier than shady (think Russian Mafia) so we just got a room at the Day's Inn and a bottle of champagne! However, we did have lunch at Bon Temps Grille---great lunch and great people. But because it was then New Years Day, much was closed, including Prejeans.
but we'll be back! Thanks all
