I know ya'll must have some great pix of the beautiful state of Louisiana - some of the other state forums have stickies where folks can post their pictures, so here's your spot to show off your state!

Did you drive and take those photos yourself?

That's very easily done with a point-and-shoot. Just brace it with youe steering wheel and you can drive and shoot, no problems. With a DSLR it's a bit more tricky, hence the reason I haven't done this since my point-and-shoot days.

I'd much rather be on the road behind someone who is taking photos like this than someone talking on a cell phone, putting on makeup, or reading a magazine.

I did that (point and shoot) while driving through west Texas. It's really not that hard. Actually got some really cool looking shots that way.
BTW, those were great pictures.

Default NOLA from a cruise ship

Just a few pics of New Orleans from the Fantasy last November.
I'm experimenting with this, so bear with me.

It's a work of art. The sense of endless space and the colors. Really like Vermillion Parish photo.

Since I've been extremely lazy here and have yet to post any of my photos, I figured I'd just post my "cityscapes" section from my website. It's incomplete, but there are some of my favorite photos in here. I haven't uploaded them all, but these are the few that I have so far.

I hope you like my work, and the way I see my home city of Shreveport in this fantastic state of Louisiana.

Oh and my Architecture section is a little bit o' Shreveport and a little bit o' Dallas...
