I just think "Laissez les bons temps rouler" would be better fitting than Sportsman's Paradise. It's more unique.

I've traveled all over this state in my previous job . Been to some pretty obscure little hole in the wall towns . The French culture is unheard of in some places . New Orleans( for example ) is like a foreign country to people in Shongaloo , Gilbert , Homer etc. The Sportsmans Paradise label is a lot more fitting overall . I don't care where you live in Louisiana , you can hunt or at least go fishing or participate in SOME kind of outdoor activity .

Something in french would work for me too. We do have more people enrolled in french immersion schools than anybody else.

I'm glad we all agree that Sportsman Paradise is the motto for our state. Well done.

Let me settle this,

"Fust ya got ta hunt an fish, then youse gots ta cook and whilz youse cook'in and eating ya gotta get on up an play sum music dat makes ya dance."

Seriously, hunting and fishing is huge in Louisiana regardless of where you live in the state and it is the the basis of Louisiana's fine cuisine and what is a fish fry, or a crawfish boil without music drinking and dancing?
