Hey Jim how's them Kennedy conspiracies coming along. You've got to have a lot of witnesses to choose from depending on which division of the after life you've been assigned to.

The threshold has been reduced by those who don't feel the state motto of Sportsman Paradise is accurate, well deserved and should not be on the license plate.

I've long thought a statewide meaningful slogan could be "Drunk Tailgating and Frivolous Lawsuits" but. the license plates are too narrow.

The state's been issuing the newer "Battle of New Orleans" themed license plate. So I guess NOLA is the focus... so possibly down the road, as another poster suggested, the "Birthplace of Jazz" might not be a bad idea!

There's more to Louisiana than New Orleans and it's culture . Been there , done that , over it .

"Famous Crawfish" for an alternate license tag slogan. Like Idaho and the "Famous Potatoes"

Why not a slogan for pecans, the bayou or sugar? We are the Sugar State and Bayou State.

New Orleans is like it's own entity within Louisiana. The rest of the state isn't anything like New Orleans. Even the people and the food in New Orleans is unlike the rest of the state (although the entire state has the best food in the country).

So the slogan, Sportsman's Paradise, is actually pretty accurate since so many in the state do enjoy hunting and fishing, whereas the birthplace of jazz only applies to NOLA.
