Looking at the landscape, the people, and the growth opportunity, as well as the area where destitution's challenges are great.
What does Louisiana hope to become as to its national position and image?

Are we capable of choosing a Governor who is both progressive and respects the people and support systems which regards the plight of the people?

It's evident Jindal, was a Reaganite Clone, (He wanted nothing more than to be a Republican Poster Boy for the Republican Party) who did not care about the people, the state system or the responsibility to progress the state and its people. He tried in every way possible to further the disaster programming of the Ronald Reagan Legacy in all his aims. History shows, Ronald Reagan, was a disaster for education, was a catalysis for the explosion of drugs in America, and set out to roll back and take away any and all civil rights for 'all people, black and white, as it relates to the liberties of people and the stifle the progress of people and the state and national concerns. The ideology Reagan left has been the guiding light of Republicans; leading to the crashes and down falls, political bickering in congress and conflicts within the nation and its people.

Jindal, set out on a destroy education, strip any program that benefits the people and privatize anything he could to ensure systems were devastated and not in a framework to be of service to the people.

He made a debacle of the State as it relates to Stimulus Programming, and his "attack Obama Mentality", became nothing more than a set back and close out for the State and its people.

Maybe someone with broader experience and ability to push for the State and its People, might just be Mary Landrieu. She at least has experience dealing with other national leaders, and certainly understand the dynamics of how Federal and State works.
For sure she is not driven by the 'Seek Austerity Programming Mentality", because Louisiana certainly cannot afford any means or manner of Austerity Seeking. It needs to look at growth and development, infrastructure repair and maintenance and this state should invest heavily in what is education. but it also needs to look to new ways to improve and change education. We may need to look at Finland, and start respecting things of advance other nations are doing and adopt it here.

None of that will happen if another Republican is elected to fill the Governors Seat.

We must be ever mindful of changes needed as -
We (Louisiana Residents) have a lot of work to do regarding the race relations within the state as well.
View the latest Google map on this concern.

If Louisiana is to move forward and upwards, it has to adopt a pro- building ideology, it has to learn better how to model itself to attract people to create business, attract new entrants from other places to want to do business in the state. It has to make itself a 'Business Friendly State", and a state which has some means and methods to push for what ever it takes to reduce crime and be swift in demolishing blight. All of these things are possible, but it also has to learn how to 'fast track building, and get contractors who can complete jobs in a reasonable time frame, rather than bleeding contracts with extended delays in completing projects.

WE HAVE MASSIVE WORK TO DO, CERTAINLY, THE STATE IS IN SERIOUS NEED OF PEOPLE RESPECTING POSITIVE LEADERSHIP... !!!!!!

Just some of the ways Jinda Wrecked Louisiana

It would be to the benefit for many citizens to learn all the ways this single individual, took and set a state back a decade of more by his policies, actions and antagonism directed two any voice of reason which tried to open his eyes.
He was blinded by 'Republican Madness" of Party Policy. He bought into the " defeat anything mentality if it means a way to attack President Obama, without regard for the damage being done to the people of this state and the state itself.

Giving Away Louisiana: An overview - The Advocate Special Reports The Advocate Special Reports

IF American people don't begin to pay attention, then the people become among those who follow the leader into destruction of the state.
21st Century does not benefit the unconcerned, the callous and those who make everything more important than paying attention to what is happening in the political arena.

It's not the days of old where people can walk around blind and callous and just follow negative ads, PEOPLE NEED TO BECOME INFORMED AND THINKING INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE PAYING ATTENTION AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE PAID ATTENTION , AS THEY BECOME PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN BUILDING A GOOD AND POSITIVE FUTURE FOR THE STATE AND ITS CITIZEN POPULATION. THE PEOPLE NEED TO RESPECT WHAT IT TAKES TO BUILD AND MANAGE OUR SOCIOECONOMIC SYSTEM AND HOW TO PROGRESS IT.

Failure to do so, is a dooming effect and leaves this state ranking continually at the bottom of every national review stat.

I would like for Louisiana to lead the nation in promoting the Christian, conservative ideals while aggressively calling out the pagan liberal ideals of the Obama administration and problems of this idiotic viewpoint. Consistently enabling the poor with free government handouts is why we have riots in Baltimore and all over this country. The Great Society has failed and is ruining our country and it's time to take our country back.

We each have thoughts about the state, I'd not be one to support the imagery nor the ideal you have outlined.
As to these poor you speak of, you might want to look around. The % of poor, working poor and destitute dirt poor, are comprised in great numbers of many whites in this State, and those numbers, outnumber the minorities by a large factor. Furthermore, these same poor, working poor whites and destitute whites and minorities, would work if there were jobs for them to go to. So when you attack people because they need public assistance, it goes beyond the right wing talking point slants, and attacks the heart of the same white society, of which Republicans are not intellegent enough and they equally so these same people do not understand they are being talked about as part of the group to be denied services and assistance.

The Right Wing whining about hand out's is a broken record which need to be trashed, but the people with higher education levels already understand that Right Wing talking point to not only be born of lack of being informed, but it is infected with Right Wing biases and bigotries; not only about the poor but focused on seeking to push the slant toward and at minorities. It's obvious and of a realism, which is precisely why the Google Map was included to emphasis the study on the variables of not only covert racism but the overt type which is often pushed via coded wording and buzz word phrasing. Any aim to deny something to minorities, equally so denies the same things to poor and destitute poor and working poor whites.

Sadly, such focusd and aim, is a destructive elements to the "Poor", who is comprised of men, women, black, white and families as well as children of all the groups it is aimed to put at greater disadvantage.

Louisiana is one of the least likely states that can afford the negative agenda of the Conservative Agenda. Because for one the DELUSION OF Conservative Agenda is a DELUSION. Conseratives only means in the minds of many, a aim interst and lusting for a 1950's American white controlled America, which is never going to happen again on the lands of this nation. They need to get over the past, stop lusting for it, and move up and join the 21st Century.

The delusion of Republican Fiscal Responsibility is a Farce. It has absolutely nothing to do with being Fiscal Conservative, because it was Republican agenda that led us to 14 yrs of war at a cost of 3-4-5 Trillion of losses and countring, it was Conservative Agenda, that shut down the government and cost us money, it was equally so conservative agenda that played funding games, resulting in our nation incurring higher interest rates on our nation debt, it was conservative Agenda which fought against a Jobs bill, they fought against reigning in Wall Street and Banks, and they supported and still support "outsourcing and being a nation who is a number one Importer.
It is further Republican agenda which has dumbed down our education from pre school to higher education with cuts and every other kind of set back imaginable.

Louisiana suffered in every category due to Republican Agenda, along with being a state low on the health rating and a governor who denied the Medical Care monies and support, all in his aim to disenfranchise many citizens from having access to medical care.

IF Lousiana is in the least of ways intellegent to want a future that is progressive, its only means to get and sustain growth and progress is get the Conservative Agenda out of the state and certainly fight against this state being Conservative.

Conservative aspires to the Antebellum Ideology. Which by design was with intent and aim, to have an elite class, and to relegate other to a lower level and status, ensuring to maintain a "service class of people" (poor minorities), and to maintain "a share cropper class of people (poor whites) as in being low income earning clerks and stock clerks and menial low level jobs)";
Antebellum aims was to draw lines between the classes by economic as well as by racial and racial economics. and to do all it could to ensure people could not cross those lines and improve their lives and the lives of their offsprings.
We have 100's of years of realism that leads up to this very day which demonstrates that, by and through the present day existance of circumstance and situations.

If people don't wake up and change and get this madness out of the Louisiana socioeconomic mentality, it is doomed to be held back by the madness of what is Conservative Agenda, built upon and promoting the edicts of Antebellum Ideology. It is not in the best interest of the people nor the State to embrace anything remotely close to Conservative Agenda.

Nothing prospers like what Liberalism builds, Liberalism builts unity and unified efforts supports growth, while Conservatism builds divides. Divides is about divide and conquer, which equates to slow death by processed destructions, leaving only the select well to do to prosper. That was within and much of the design basics of what is Antebellum Ideology.

Louisiana should have had enough of that after the Centuries and Decades which has rendered it with the tonality of Conservative Agenda having caused it to loose and stump growth and the disaster of what that left in its wake.

Liberalism builds? Liberalism builds nothing but dependence on people who work because there is ZERO incentive for the slackers that receive gov't dependence to go out and work. The big gov't and enabling welfare state has destroyed this country. There is no incentive for people to improve their lives when the backbone of society busts our behind to give free money to the lazy. Again look at Baltimore. How many of those thugs are on gov't handouts. No further questions.

Thank you. An even better reason to eliminate the welfare state. Liberalism sounds like a great idea, but in reality it has devastated the inner cities and turned what once was hard working victims into apathetic slackers living off of the hard work of the rest of Americans.

Reading and learning is an amazing exploration and provides one with good information, so they don't become driven by confabulous mis conception and false information. !!!!

The devastation of the inner cities is and has been a model study on many levels, it is well documented, and that documentation has nothing to do with labeling public service assistance users as being a mass of lazy people.
It is a fact equally so, that poverty and extreme poverty can lend itself to alcholism, drugs, violence and loss of hope and individuals as well as groups of individuals despaired in a multitude of ways with no visible concept of how to navigate out of the grips of such.

Therefore, if you have not walked in their shoes and lived in or within the sphere of their conditions, it might be best to learn what is compassion, how to embrace the understanding to acknowledge where and when compassion is apporiate, and where and when as well as how people struggle under the oppression of Poverty's conditions.

Oakland is a prime example, as is many cities across the nation from mill town to former industrial centers. It is documented and noted, Oakland for example. After World War II, when the military production was ramped down, it left a lot of mixed groups of minorities in the city, with no functional means of employment, furthermore 'State and Federal Funds were used in assistance to build communities outside of Oakland, with a designation for "white only occupancy and how ownership", this was a futher blow to the minority group left within the Oakland area. When new business grew it was designated as well as targeted to move to the areas where the new housing developments had been built for the "white only occupancy". no mass transist system was designed nor developed to help inner city people get to those jobs.

When initial public service funds were allocated via Federal and State Programs, much was drained off for the fringe groups near the new developments whom were predominantly poor whites, who could not afford to get into the new housing developments, and the remainder of the funds were distributed to the multiple minorities groups in insufficient amounts to achieve the claimed objectives. Further devastating the inner cities and the minorities who lived there.

This model was replicated across America. One would need to go and read the ideologies that shaped policy from the late 1960, 70's and the devastated policies of the 80's by the same programming used by the former governor of California, Ronald Reagan; who had now become President of the United States during the devastation generated and created in the 1980's. In the process Reaganomics was a well know contested programming and policy influences which devasted education, public services, assistance to the mentally ill, union busting and this same policy kept moving up and through the GHW Bush era, which during the span, there was an attack and assault on "overtime" in the work place, while still focusing on the massive "outsourcing of industry" from one coast to the next.

There was no interest in jobs for Americans, there was interest in "offshore industrial performance", and the profits the industrialist and markerters pursued by every means imaginable. In part this assured that class division would increase, and upward mobility would not be with an avenue for the poor, working poor, dire poor whites and the minority groups, as well as a guard against the advancement of women in the workplace. This was a program hatched during the Civil Rights era and continued during the following administrations. It was too; an attack against the affirmative action and other programs to uplift the poor and minority groups. The workforce program were a sham, with improper training for industry which no longer existed on American soil as people were led to inept training programs, leaving them ill equipped to pursue the remaining work. Follow this up with a criteria put in place to require degrees for even menial jobs, leaving more people ineldigible for hire based on such criteria.

When education was de-funded for city and state colleges, it meant people would have no way upwards unless they had the available monies to pay for doing so. This means the upper middle class would be the group available and capabable to afford higher educations. This was further complicated by what we see today, an increase in "student lending", which indentured the poor, working poor and minority groups to vast sums, at the benefit of banks and the detriment of the students, even if they went to school, their buying power was greatly hindered for decades. As is today, homeownership and raising a family was diminished within their available options.
Degrees were promoted, for industry which had long been shipped offshore. Those with degree worked no where close to the focus or area of their study. Ultimately rendering their education useless to give them employment and increased earning.

One has to learn to read and study to see the ideology of the mentality which drove policy and set the tonality for the exact same widespread of the "Antebellum Ideology" I spoke of in the previous post.

But the post challenger who ignores all such things to pose unfounded contest to what is well documented; continues to push Right Wing Talking points which results to be nothing more than covert means to spew and push the bigotry, vitirol and slanted slaps at groups of people, he has no awareness of the challenges they face or the element of desire and will they have to want to work and provide a quality standard of life.

Mr. Reagan was far more successful in giving corporate managers unprecedented influence over the future of public education. Reagan's avowed purpose was to make America more competitive in the world economy. But corporate executives dabbling in public education had no discernable influence on America's competitiveness. But the influence of big business did undermine the power of parents and locally elected school board members. It also suggested that it was far more important for schools to turn out good employees than good citizens or decent human beings.
Ronald Reagan's Educational Legacy
One would need to read with understanding, prespective and know the power of the Presidency to influence policy which stand and reverbrates for decades after they leave office.

In the case of Louisiana, mismanagement of the lumber industry and various other industries critical to the construction, the oil and gas greed driven industry and the various other manufacturing jobs both those which use to exist, those that might have come and those which both left and the conditions which made this state one of the ill considered venues to establish business, resulted to devastate the State.

American rushed to Japan in the late 50's through out the 80's, and then it flipped and ramped up the exodus of Industry to China. There was little collective thought for the poor, working poor and dire poor, minorities and women, so it was not a factor to be of concern when it came to outsourcing as to whom it would hurt or devastate. Everything looked to the wealthy, the Stock Ticker, and the bought and paid for politicians, who sold away the concern for and of the people to meet the agenda of the ideology being promoted in the day and age of such a callous exodus of industry.
By 1969, the design to move Steel and all ore based processing to China was part of the Nixon Agenda to negotiate with China to open its doors and sell america its labor force for dirt cheap slave wage labor figures. China abliged, because it was a uplift for them, at the cost of devastating the american public. What Nixon forgot it was Communism vs Democracy, and economically " Communism won", We now are a debt owing nation unto China to the tune of $1.3 Trillions dollars and growing.
We can't make or produce anything without materials and goods from China. we can't dress ourselves within importans from China. We can't adopt and modify monetary policy without first consulting with China, based on the debt ratio and the need for imported goods we are dependent on China far more than they were ever dependent on us. Our Ivy League schools were instrumental in adhering to these policies and trained people accordingly, so they came from University and promoted much of the same.

It might be wise to not call people 'slacker and all the derregatory names and labels as being done, when many factors are ignored in and within ones assesment of others. A great many of our disadvantaged and poor are ex-military, and many are injured ex-military, along with many other situations which thrust people into or make it difficult for them to climb out of these circumstance.

I can read and study just fine. Why is it that immigrants can come to this country from Mexico, Europe, Asia and work hard and be tremendously successful yet the inner city slackers who have been here for years cant?

Your third sentence mentions "progressive". I didn't have to read further.
Thanks but no thanks on your government provided world.
How about you just move to Baltimore where your social model is on display.
