Hi everyone! I just got offered a job in Morgan City and I am stumped about finding an apartment in either Morgan City, Berwick, or Patterson. I found a small, one-bedroom apartment that was in my price range -- $475 -- but the person living next door seemed to be a hoarder and there were German Cockroaches all over the inside of the apartment. The person showing it to me had no care in the world about the roaches, so I definitely knew that place wasn't for me. I looked at Bayside Apartments, but they had no one bedrooms available. I just need a simple studio or one bedroom that isn't over $550. I was looking at the prices of some apartments close to Morgan City and the rent reached $800 for a one bedroom, which I find absolutely ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions on apartment complexes, or individual little houses that I could look at? I know little to nothing about the area and I'm a single female, so I'm looking for something safe. Thanks for reading!
