Whats up with all the sugar cane trucks uncovered going down the freeways. Doesn't your state have laws about unsecured loads? All the cr@p flying out the back while going down the freeway is pretty annoying.

I pull over and pick up cane scattered along the road. Chop it into foot-long pieces for my catahoula to chew on.

I honestly hate this about Louisiana.

This about the time of year where they light their fields on fire as well, putting every bit of pesticide and herbicide on the ground up into the air. EPA doesn't chase agriculture like they do industry.

I live in Thibodaux and I see sugar cane trucks from October to December.
