Jindal, attacked "Health Care and He Attacked Education with a vile driven vengeance to deprive the people of basics which the Preamble of This States Constitution mandates a Governor to Protect and Prosper.
Instead, he set out on a destructive mission, cutting more than $800 million from the education system, and then set out to turn LSU Medical over to Cronies Madness, once they saw the potential for ACA driven profits.
(All the while the people remained silent) !!!!!

Where is the public voice and the compassionate realism to respect the life and health of the young, the aged and those who need health care?

It does not matter whom you are, or what your financial standing is, your ethnicity or any of the divide measures people get hung up tripping about. _ "HEALTH CARE IS A UNIVERSAL HUMAN NEED IN OUR SOCIETY" --- !!!!!!

You may have private high cost insurance which gives you the platinum status, or you may be on Medicare with need of Medicaid to help pay the premiums, either way, it is respectful fact, that each person deserves the "best of care" - We are talking about "human life", not what one can bleed an insurance company for.
We know as well, most of these for profit medical institutions push a model where cost is inflated, to extract the most from patients or insurance companies, and insurance companies have too much to say and do about what a patient can get as to services.

"What is of Value"? "LIFE OR JUST THE PURSUIT OF DOLLARS".
(All the while the people remained silent) !!!!!

When physicians become notable, to the point they won't do a service they were trained to do without being gifted $1'000's and $10's of thousands of dollars, for a days work. Then something has gone terribly wrong with the "Ethic's of the System" and the Oath becomes meaningless.

When a person can receive a bill for $1,000's of dollars for a 2-4 hour Emergency Room Visit. Then something is wrong with out system and those who run it.

(All the while the people remained silent) !!!!!

It is no doubt it cost money to run the facilities, But if you look at the CONTINUAL Expansion, IT IS an indicator they are "flush with cash overflow".

When the Executives continue to ENRICH themselves beyond reasonable belief. They become power mongers who are more driven by Avarice, than the desire to do good for the community or the citizens.

(All the while the people remained silent) !!!!!

Some have metric's which tell them, a Cancer Patient is good for 2yrs, of any kind of medical billing they want to pursue and process, the more the insurance is drained the less life span the patient has, because they see no more profit. This is the difference between "truly" seeking a Cure for Cancer, VS Treating the Symptoms.
There is far more money in Treating Symptoms, than in trying to cure the root cause of the disease. Innovations are shunned, by the Establishment, because it cuts into their program, and they spend more time looking at loss mitigation than looking at offering the patient the best that is available in the industry of medicine.

(All the while the people remained silent) !!!!!
REFORM IS NEEDED- To find ways to make it function to its highest potential.

Many many 10's of thousands of Senior Citizens, the young and poor whom are sick, know the lifesaving benefits of Medicare, but people remained silent while Jindal did all he could not to expand it to meet its potential for benefits to the citizen populations.

Jindal Closes Hospitals

Quote:
The private hospital managers proposed budgets “that represented the bare bones of what is required to deliver care to the people of Louisiana,” said Gregory Feirn, CEO of LCMC Health, which runs the state-owned hospital in New Orleans.

From your rant it seems you want someone else to provide for you. Insurance is a logical and workable entity that's worked just fine for thousands of years.
Then government began to meddle with it and determine what is fair and who deserves what treatment no matter the cost.
Now because of people like you, an aspirin costs $1.75 ea.
My voice is compassionate for the truly needy, not for the truly socialist.

I don't understand your continuous bellowing about Jindal . What are you trying to accomplish ? Jindal's term as Governor will end . He will NOT get the Republican nomination for President . Let it go , for God's sake ! Find another Republican to bash , this one has grown old and tired .

If you think just because he's leaving office that more damages will not show up, done by his actions, then you don't grasp the nature of the office.
It will be many years of troubles behind the things done by Jindal. Awareness is one thing that helps people correct the mistakes of the past.

Two out of three voters were for Jindal the last election despite his lousy first term because he rallied enough support by wrapping himself in the American flag and beating the bible. He was for teaching creationism as part of Earth Sciences in school and swore he'd do everything in his power to fight Obama. For many voters in Louisiana, that was good enough. Never mind the damage to healthcare and higher ed, guess voters didn't think that was too important to worry about. And let's not forget the political cowardice among the party faithful. Even those in Republican leadership were shaking their heads but did nothing to curb Boy Jindal's blind ambition as he was more concerned with what Grover Norquist thought than the thoughts, concerns and feelings of his own people. He let us down and all people want to do is forget about him as if he never happened. Denial is a dangerous thing.

Cognitive bias is a hard thing to overcome... when it comes to politics, folks seek out confirmation bias more than anything else. They're not the least bit interested in considering another point of view, they're only interested in maintaining their own and will go to the grave thinking the same way they were taught by their parents, their grandparents, their preachers and their favorite talk-show pundits.

Stupid people like nothing more than to be catered to and that's what's been happening in our state for decades. Jindal once said the Republican party needed to stop being "...the stupid party..."; too bad we can't seem to create smarter voters. C'est la vie!

Isn't it utterly insane. It's as if the people of Louisiana have a welded on DUNCE CAP- They can't see the republican have done damage that may take decades to even get close to repair. Still with their SELECTIVE AMNESIA and the obsessive mentality to cling to the Confederate Ideals of Right Wing Policies, as if they are still clinging to George Wallace's ideals of the 1960's.
Talk about a Backwards Mentality, with limited awareness to even pay attention with a connectivity to understand the past and the devastations that came with it. Still they cling to the Agenda, as if one is whipping a dead horse, expecting it to get up and run a record breaking quarter mile.

I doubt there is much hope or help for those stuck in the Wallace Mentality of the 1960's and push and lust for policies that hold back, push down, dismantle, and destroy.

Who in their right mind would vote for any party group who had the audicity to attack the LSU Educational and Medical Network the way Jindal (REPUBLICAN PROCESS). It is simply horrendous, to even think that people support that kind of madness.
It is further an insult to this state, which has one of the UN healthiest population and a increasing senior population, and that was further purposefully assaulted by the Refusal to take Federal Medicaid Monies.

It's as if the old Slave Days Mentality is still alive.. with the concept of if people can't hit the filed anylonger, then they are relegated to die a horrible death with no assistance of any kind provided. That's what denying the Federal Medicaid Monies Represent as to the Ideals of Jindal and the Republican System.

How many more decades will the Georgian concept pushed by Wallace and Bull Connor mentality hold this state back. The history of this state has held on to the die hard disenfranchisement mentality and policies driven by such far too long. What is wrong with the people, why they just can't let go of their Confederate and Antebellum aspirations and look to building a better people respecting state.

It's such a shame- This state insults itself by those who continue to lust for the past.
