I see all the commercials about how happy everyone is at Plastipak in Pineville, how they love working there, etc. And there are banners stating they're hiring. I've been unemployed for almost 6 months, have applied 3 times online because lo & behold you can't go in person to get an application. Done tried that. The end result is complete silence. I have a steady employment history, never been fired, no criminal background, reliable transportation & excellent references. I'm also a hard worker wanting to be given at least a chance to prove myself worthy of employment. I don't belong to any "cliques" so maybe that's a reason -Pineville & Alexandria being major clique cities. I defy anyone who doesn't know anyone at Proctor & Gamble to get hired through their long pre employment process unless by complete fluke.
