As if to add just one more insult to injury, former La. Gov. Bobby Jindal granted millions in pay raises to certain state agencies just before he left office. So what that he left La. in a sorry financial shape facing an estimated $1.9+/- billion budget shortfall. It's unclear yet as to how much more these 11th hour pay hikes will cost the state as the Commissioner of Administration, Jay Dardenne and staff are calculating the costs. Everyone in the state was well aware of the dire financial concerns of the state and how inappropriate it was to give raises in the final days of the administration. The "Man who would be president" based his administration on one-time fixes to the state budget woes by selling off surpluses while going to extremes to prevent any actions even close to raising much-needed revenues. But before he leaves office he bumps pay by 4% to certain select agencies, leaving some speculation that such a move was either politically motivated or self-serving as a way to keep his new "think-tank" in good graces with certain offices. Given his previous actions one can only assume that Wonderboy Jindal must have felt he was above any and all appearances of impropriety.

as I said in the other post:

Quote:
Sadly, more will be exposed as time moves along, and we have to find ways to deal with the results of what will be uncovered and discovered. Jindal, messed up more than $1.8 billion, (which is just the 800+million surplus he had, and the $1 billion debt he left). This is after cutting Education more than 800 million, and the many other cuts and give aways, he probably cost us upwards of 3-5+ billion and it may even be closer to a Billion Dollars a Year Loss factor for the years he held office. All the facts are not in and the truths have not all been uncovered.
We should have means to file against him for Economic Treason against the state just on the level of his blatant disregard for the elements in our State Preamble of which he had absolutely "0" regard to consider or respect.
We can be certain there is more to be uncovered.

American people will be "FORCED" to awaken and they will be Unwillingly lead to "LEARN". Society can't go on with ignorance leading drama sequences and daily people chasing a different twist to a "drama fix" as if they are junkies strung out on "drama addictions".

We either become aware, knowledgeable and informed, or we wallow in ignorance until we are consumed by our own stupidity. (realize, ignorance is and becomes stupidity, when one fails to acknowledge that they don't know, and then fail to pursue information so they can know, and forge ahead in the core of ignorance, they will make "stupid choices").

It's to the individual and the collective to become informed, so they can be knowledgeable and thus make knowledgeably choices as we go forward.
We no longer can lay blame to the "I don't know", "this is too complicated for me", or other Apathy driven commentary.
If we don't awaken then we fix ourselves into stagnation, we also bind ourselves to the labels of being , backward and ignorant southerners. "We no longer can afford that nature of functioning".

Adults and young people alike, must choose to abandon the "apathy mindset" and become a society of system and individuals who function from "being informed and making knowledgeable choices".
We can't continue under the absorption within bigotry and bias, because ultimately it defeats all of us. We can't go forward, while still chasing racism in a backwards circle and then lying about doing so.

It's time for big "CHANGE", we either make it now or relegate ourselves to another decade of being seen as being nothing more than another backwards, southern bigoted state, with an attachment of label as being racist and imbecilic in spinning in the madness it creates. these mindset bring downtrends to all of us, YES, this includes those who are well to do financially, because the deficit of diminished integrity is worst than one loosing their money.

We have an opportunity, we have the position of a Democratic Governor, if we don't rid ourselves of a Republican In State Congress and its Grid Locking Mentality, we won't move forward and it will be extremely costly to our future.

What of truths exist about Republican System, Agenda and how Jindal followed the script of such and devastated this state. Who knows what it takes for Republicans to actually open their eyes and mind and see the realism's that drive their ideological mindsets, to understand the madness it makes and the results it leaves as messes of many sorts.

It's really sad in history how the Republican Party was overtaken by the Southern Democrats and the sympathetic Northern Democrats, who had been and remained being for Industrialist, and other programs that did not support economic equilibrium, civil rights, or women rights and many of the things which enfranchise individuals. They held fast to their slavery and post slavery era ideology, and many of the things which made the Democratic Party a strong supporter of Antebellum Mentality.
They could not stomach the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, so they moved to convert over to the Republican Party and bring their ideals, but inversely the Republicans moved to dominate the Democratic party and continue to push for pluralism and support for the poor, the minorities and all the things which they once supported as members of the Republican party. The history of the current day democrats, whom were once republican, continue to support "As being Current Day Democrats", pro-citizen agenda, unions and programs which are of benefit to "all" American people with a sense of equilibrium options for "all" American Individuals; Social, Economic and Political.

The Party flip by anguished Southern Democrats who could not stop the enactment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and could not stop "Integration" in schools, business, commercial and other establishments, even thought they may have had inklings of design to hoodwink the people by its infiltration aims to try and gain dominance in the Republican party in a manner to roll back advances in civil rights, but their ideals of aim in doing so were not realized, they "quickly"began to promote the same agenda they promoted as previously Southern Democrats Today, they are splintered into many factions of extremism, it is highly visible in the pool of current candidate who support one angle or the other of extremism, and each angle seeks to deny some group or groups "something!", while they collectively have an anti-independence of individualism against women, their ranks in every media depiction show and demonstrate a dominant "white people" make up; not one of "diversity" of ethnicity, and they cater to enclaves which are rural and antebellum ideologically minded whites as their base.
They use fiction in many ways, and terms of delusion such as "conservative", and "fiscal conservative", "and a variety of religious zealotry angles, to coddle the base while it inflames them with bigotry and bias jargon, as a covert means to drum up "mob like frenzy" with fury AGAINST anything and everything which they think even remotely supports "a unity, equilibrium and rights for "all" concept". In many ways they still aspire to the delusions that "The Constitution" is for white men to interpret and dictate their interpretation upon and against others.

That George Wallace and Bull Connor mentality of the 1960's long ago died out, even George Wallace had to awaken before his death. But the many "die hard's" who won't admit to their bigotry, bias, and other caste system mentalities will eventually drown in their own madness. Geez, after all these years and decades and changes in the political amendments people still fight the same battles "DEEP IN THEIR MINDS", of which they fought pre Civil Rights Act of 1964. Just bent and determined to seek ways to continue to promote a "deny someone something mentality". It's like a rabid sickness that infects some and they outwardly want to deny it but they know deep in their minds, they can't rid themselves of their bias and bigotry, because it would mean they would have to see and deal with others as "equal human beings"; this would mean giving up their undertone of delusion of superiority. Instead, they lust for a return to the 1950's and before, which is NEVER going to happen in America, That ERA IS GONE !!!!!! Get over yourself and open your eyes

Look around, pay attention and learn to grow beyond the stagnated mentality and get off the delusion of "conservatism", because no one is going to "conserve" the past, and there is absolutely NOTHING fiscally conservative about Republicans. They only want to try and have a system to deny minorities and others and dire poor whites but they want the dire poor whites to be blind to the actual devastation which is planned for them, but they forget that a MASS of Poor whites including the Poor whites who aspire to Republican illusions, are dominant groups population who consume massive public benefits. They may not want to see themselves in the pool of such recipients, but the minute that check does not arrive they will raise hell, just like anyone and everyone else. Those semi professionals whom many of white society individuals, make up a great many who live by the resources of public grants and contracts. This is a group whom would and will go ballistic if those programs were cut and they could not profit from them. Yet, they oppose the same system which supports programs means of funding. This includes many of the "slum lords", who support the continuance of slum communities, because they want that Section 8 check to go to their account like clock work.

If politicians were honest, people would be amazed at the volume of acts and actions as well as information hidden by the republican system.

Everything continue to point to Jindal's many covertly messed up decisions and his collusive agenda. How Republican can still support his tenure is utterly amazing. They do so because Jindal did all he could to conserve the madness of past policies and institute policy which aspired to the past. His Reagan ideology aspirations was directly rooted in the mentality which was dominant within the Reagan undertones of devastating acts committed by Reaganomics.

Jindal improves social welfare of Louisiana government employees by giving pay raises.

Jesus
taught us to help our fellow man through democratic social reforms, Bobby Jindal.

Families across the state of Louisiana are thankful tonight for the extra food on their table.

Churches across the state of Louisiana will see an increase in donations from government employees.

Restaurants see new fortunes as more middle class families arrive as a result of Bobby Jindal pay raises!

May God Bless Bobby Jindal!
