I don't expect the lake to be blue. I'd naturally expect a greenish brown color. What I do not expect is the lake to look look like Coca Cola, which is what it looks like.

Thank goodness no one is discussing cleaning up the Mississippi river in Baton Rouge! The levee board there has certainly wasted enough tax payer money to do so!
How on earth is that bashing?! The river in Baton Rouge is a major seaport, with massive changes in water level, that particular part of Lake Charles is where people boat. Apples and oranges.
They are opening Pontchartrain Beach in New Orleans and people are talking about cleaning the water in the lake. Get out the house more often.

Not asking for much. The idea has been floated around about Galveston's water.

LC does need to clean up its waterways though, the beach along I-210 has been closed off due to high levels of bacteria in Prien Lake.

Golden Nugget is in the process of building a second tower with 300 additional rooms so now the resort will have more than 1,000 rooms. The new tower is supposed to be complete in the spring of 2017.

I don't get it. If they had $42 million of the $60 million needed, why didn't they just get a loan for the other $18 million?
