Hello,

Can you tell me about Lake Charles:

What type of vibe does it have? Casual?

Great activities for kids?

Great restaurants for families: nice and casual?

Best hotel stay?

Thanks!

Alley

The vibe is very casual.

Millennium Park on Bord Du Lac Drive is a great place for the kids. It has a water park and a castle with passageways.

Steamboat Bill's is a great seafood restaurant good for families, Tony's for family style Italian, Peking Garden for Chinese, Saltgrass for Steaks.

If you have the money, stay at Golden Nugget hotel. Otherwise, the Springhill Suites is pretty nice.

Casual vibe-rather laid back
Several hotels have been built on Prien Lake Road and behind buffalo wild wings, a Courtyard Marriott has just opened.
Bord Du Lac park along the boardwalk, SPAR Waterpark in Sulphur, LA
