I decided I'm going to make a return trip early next year to Lafayette. Since I wasn't able to get that far in October.

YES! Tell me about it. I have some relatives who live part of the mall on those new developments going towards Youngsville. It takes forever to get to and from the interstate to get out of the city.

What I was looking for was of several things.

I kinda wanted an ideal Southern town, lots of history, and had things that a mid-late 20's guy like me can do.

What do I like to do?

Read mostly, really started getting into church again, sightseeing (I do love Louisiana's swampy environment), big Civil War buff. I wish the area I currently live in was more conducive to dating, but that would require it to be much more populated.

I feel terrible for letting this idle for a while.

I decided that in terms of things to do Lafayette would be comparatively better. And I've decided to visit the place later this year.

Youre welcome any time of year! What month do you plan? April would have been great though.
