New Orleans is full of historical societies! I'm from BR do those images of the locks aren't going to pop up in my head. The last one I'm sure someone here can recognize. Otherwise, go to street view and look at random intersections in the quarter. Would definitely be close to the river though, maybe Royal or Bourbon.
