Service will be to Denver and Orlando beginning October 24th on Wednesdays and Saturdays and service will be expanded if these routes are successful. Although I would much prefer Southwest, beggars can't be choosers. Having low-fare non-stop options to DEN and MCO can only be a plus for the area.

LAFAYETTE (LFT) to/from DENVER (DEN)
F9 691 Depart LFT: 10:12 a.m. Arrive DEN: 11:53 a.m.
F9 690 Depart DEN: 12:43 p.m. Arrive LFT: 4:08 p.m.
Aircraft: Airbus A320
Frequency: Wednesday, Saturday
Service Start: October, 24
Seasonal (In other words, trial )

LAFAYETTE (LFT) to/from ORLANDO (MCO)
F9 398 Depart LFT: 4:58 p.m. Arrive MCO: 8 p.m.
F9 397 Depart MCO: 8:15 a.m. Arrive LFT: 9:22 a.m.
Aircraft: Airbus A320
Frequency: Wednesday, Saturday
Service Start: October, 24
Seasonal

Introductory fares:
Fares must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Jul. 13, 2018 for nonstop travel. Travel is valid Oct. 5, 2018 through Nov. 14, 2018. Fares are valid Mondays through Saturdays dependent on days of operation.
Fares are one way and do not require roundtrip purchase.

DEN to/from LFT $49
LFT to/from MCO $39

I just wish the new terminal was completed for the new service. It's a complete cluster as it is...

Yes, construction should proceed as soon as one last ancient hangar is demolished.

To me, the new design renderings look like something out of the 1960's, but hopefully will look better once built. Regardless, it's way past due. The current terminal has one TSA security lane which backs up considerably, sometimes taking over an hour to get through and people are missing flights. Then once past security, the gate areas are so small it becomes standing room only.

The worst time is early morning when four flights leave almost at once. A Delta Boeing 717, an American CRJ-900 and two United E-170/175's. That's over 300 passengers in a room not much bigger than a Walgreens. The new terminal will total around 128,000 sq. feet.

This is great for South Louisiana as far as more travel destinations. I hope this works out!
