Details on new i-10 Bridge mentioned in speech by Donald Trump on 5/15/2019.

No reference to paying to union labor to collect tolls for new bridge.

Donald Trump is crazy to think we can survive without unions collecting toll money for the socialist republic of USA!

False dichotomy.

Electronic tolling means nobody has to sit at a toll booth.

This will be another empty promise, just like the wall that isn't being paid for by Mexico but by taxpayers.

Similar to that promise of CHANGE & universal free healthcare by that last president?

At least we are not being told to keep up all that good HOPE something happens.

China just passed immense tariffs on our exports, more jobs will be lost.

Trump is the biggest loser (literally) of all taxpayers in the country, he lost more money than any other taxpayer.

I'm still waiting for the winning...

That will require you to:
1) Get a STEM education (no winning for Arts, Grammar or Political Science degrees).
2) Have already worked during the past 4-8 years in a high demand STEM field for basic wages.
3) Have saved your money up during the past 4-8 years (instead of believing that you should spend money on consumer items and have made wise decisions with how you spend your capital).
4) Open a business or take a job in a non-monopolistic regional economy (remember big cities are setup to take your finances through high living costs).

If you did not make those decisions in life then yeah, this new economy based on pay for performance is not going to work out for you.

Sorry.

Sorry.
Nice try!

I got a degree with a prestigious university in CompSci and probably make a lot more than you. I have more money saved up than most Americans.

I got that degree with Pell Grants from Bill Clinton even though I grew up in a modest family. I honed my career in Silicon Valley with the best of the best, which now allows me a comfortable lifestyle. I saw how a nice liberal society worked, where you're judged not by the church you attend or what color you look like but how great your ideas are. I'm personally winning because of my skills and that winning happened well before Trump, back when he was just a bankrupt real estate developer.

But the country is not winning. Farm jobs are being lost, the stock market just tanked because of asinine trade wars that Trump shouldn't have started. Most countries think we're a backward horrible country because of Trump. Our world standing has diminshed.
A baby could make the economy hum right now but he even ruins this. Not to mention wasting taxpayer money on a wall that will fall down in the next monsoon out west due to erosion (parts of the wall have eroded several times for the parts of the wall that have already been built).

Now, who's the one living in the #50 state in almost everything? Who's the one living in cancer alley?

So, you had already pursued a STEM education and you are in fact winning.

On the personal attack regarding my pay, I hope you donate the entire $$$,$$$ difference to the group of people you feel have suffered because of the current political environment.

I'm winning, I always had, I was winning more under Obama, however. My taxes went up with the latest Trump tax breaks for wealthy/tax increase for middle class.

What conservatives don't realize is that a tax of 1 cents on every American with a salary above 250k would raise much more money than anybody giving "all their salary". Have those that have made it pay their fair share and it would help everyone.

Most charity is a scam. Even clothes you donate end up getting sold in Africa and India.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaQ4LHJMpiI

Money you donate is used to pay the execs there and very little is used to help the poor.

I'd much rather the government assist the poor with more food stamps and subsidies than let corporations handle it.

Trump promised a new I-10 bridge. I'm still waiting for it to happen...

If Trump builds it, I hope Lousianna makes a state maintained bypass for it, heck - even 1 lane each way because it is better to sit in that heaping mess than to sit on one of Trumps promises as it crumbles into Lake Charles below you.
