Tell the rest of the world what are the gas prices averaging across Louisiana? Are they as ghastly there as they are here at $3.59 per gal last I checked. It seems that since you do have oilrigs and refineries ? your gas prices might not be sooo high well of coarse if your gas isnt highly taxed also.BLU is wondering....

I paid $3.53 yesterday for regular. Gas is high, but our gas prices are actually a little bit lower than most places. I have family in GA that are paying $3.70 or more. When I drive back and forth between here and Atlanta, the prices are lower (not much lower, but a bit) in Louisiana than they are in Alabama or Georiga.

In the town I live in, right outside of Shreveport-Bossier, I paid $3.65 last Sunday. Not sure what it is now because I haven't had to get gas yet.

Gas in Chicago is $4.30, that's sickening.

I've been visiting my parents a lot lately because of the June move and they live 25 min away in the burbs.
I'll put $20 in my tank and it seriously gets me there and back and I'm back on the E light. I can't afford to keep filling my car up $50+ every few days.

There are two particular places (that I know of) in metro BTR that are sitting at $3.79 (for regular). The other places I notice range between $3.52-$3.69.

I filled up on Friday at $3.90 per gallon. It hadn't changed in the 3 days since I filled up before that. It's been $3.90 for a while.
