I don't see Baton Rouge getting a professional sports team anytime soon. Do they even have a minor league baseball team?

I saw the Red Sticks play in the old Class D Evaneline league in the 50s, but thats about it.

its hard to squeeze more sports money out of a major NCAA town. Maybe D-league basketball/

It's been the G-league for a few years now, and no, that team just moved to Birmingham from Erie.
