Well, you know I just have to say it! The big ole lake is just about plumb full of water to the point that they have got to release some or flood folks out. Yep. And all those nay-sayers who thought it would never happen--course it has been a long 2+ years of lower water--but it goes in cycles and those who can hang on should. But I won't dwell on the past when the future looks so bright. The hydro-contract is still there and they will draw the lake down but all-in-all it is lookin' good. Now I have to worry about bank erosion. And in September of 2006 with the lake at 161 feet--a record low--I could have played an NFL game on my beach. Of course, the players would have had to weave in and out of the stumps! Now they would be swimming the plays

Well, you know I just have to say it! The big ole lake is just about plumb full of water to the point that they have got to release some or flood folks out. Yep. And all those nay-sayers who thought it would never happen--course it has been a long 2+ years of lower water--but it goes in cycles and those who can hang on should. But I won't dwell on the past when the future looks so bright. The hydro-contract is still there and they will draw the lake down but all-in-all it is lookin' good. Now I have to worry about bank erosion. And in September of 2006 with the lake at 161 feet--a record low--I could have played an NFL game on my beach. Of course, the players would have had to weave in and out of the stumps! Now they would be swimming the plays
