The heat and humidity I think will be your biggest adjustment. I am thinking of moving to Ashland, Ky within the next 6 mos. and I have been on the KY boards reading alot lately. I am not sure about the part of Ky that you are from but I think Lafayette may be alot more diverse. You will get to enjoy the good spicy food and LSU football!! Go Tigers!!! Good luck!!

Ashland. not many people chose to move there, might I ask why? Huntington is near thats a cool town. I am from North Central Kentucky
