A friend and I have a few days we would like to spend in Louisiana but need some suggestions. We are both originally from Calif but I now live in Eastern Tx and this is my first chance to go exploring. We are 2 ladies that love music, want to experience the food and not into fancy stuff. I've actually never been to any of the lounges myself, but I understand that on Frenchmen in the French Quarter, there's always great live music.
