Anyone know of any cities between these two? My boyfriend will be stationed at Ft. Polk, but if I can't find employment closer, I'm thinking I may need to work in Lake Charles. I can't seem to find much on the map in between the two though. Any suggestions? Also, how is Lake Charles? Is it a pretty decent size city and economy? Thanks!

Deridder and Leesville will be your best places to look for work. My husband used to work on base and it is a LONG drive back and forth to Fort Polk everyday. It gets old quick.
