Early Voting Locations?? (Baton Rouge: home, live in, office)

We just recently return home and live in Bossier Parish. There are news stories in the Times about early voting, but I could not detect from the article where and when Bossier residents vote! I even called the voter registrations office to no avail. I know the lines are going to be horrendous on election day, so we are trying to avoid spending hours there! Help!

The wait at the Registrar's office in downtown Baton Rouge was 50-60 minutes yesterday. It's longer at State Archives on Essen. Don't know what it's like in SBC.

My precinct is within two minutes of my house, so I chose not to vote early. Remember to vote early and often.

From looking at ballot yesterday, I imagine lines will be slow Nov. 4. We have 9 amendments on our ballot along with president, senator, representative, juvenile judge, etc. And the bond. Just because the precinct is two minutes from your house, that's no indication of how long a line you might have there on Nov. 4. The lines for early voting have been amazing. You may see some 65%+ turnout for this election, which isn't necessarily great, but that would be huge for Louisiana.

You can early vote through Tuesday. If I were waiting until Nov. 4, I'd say go early that morning, possibly be at the door when they open. Because once someone backs up the line by sitting there reading the entire ballot, that's it.

At this late minute, it's not worth early voting, but when I went the first day, I was in and out in 10 minutes - they had the process very well organized (I went to the Archives Building on Essen).
